Tis the Season
One of my grandsons brought me several copies of Some Secrets Hurt to sign last week. They were to be Christmas gifts for school teachers. Tyler is in sixth grade, Austin is in second grade, and Amanda is in kindergarten. Each will give Some Secrets Hurt as a Christmas gift to their teacher.
What a good idea. This is a gift that any teacher can use in the classroom to make a difference in children’s lives, not just now, but for years to come. Can you imagine the impact of many teachers sharing this book with many students, in many communities?

They can learn how to say no. Children don’t always learn this at home. Teachers can help. Keeping kids safe is everyone’s job.
