Shaping the Dream part 5

Notice the closed position of this little girl.  She represents the first stage of healing.  In her we see the loneliness that often accompanies abuse.  It is common for abuse victims to withdraw from others and to close the lines of communication.  We cannot see what she is thinking, but we can guess what she is feeling.  Don’t you want to reach out to her, and make a difference?
